The first step to replace the left air temperature actuator requires removal of the left closeout panel. Eliminate the power connection from the actuator and free the mounting screws that secure the unit. Secure the new left air temperature actuator using screws tightened at 1 N.m (9 lb in) following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. After reattaching the electrical connector to the actuator replace the left closeout panel.
