How to replace the washer reservoir on Cadillac SRX?

Open the hood first and remove the washer solvent container cap to start changing the washer solvent container. First unbolt the front bumper fascia and lower air deflector before removing the Headlight from the passenger side for left-hand drive or from the driver side for right-hand drive. Empty solvent from the washer solvent container before unconnecting the hoses from the washer pumps. Unplug the washer pumps and washer solvent level sensor electrical connectors when disconnecting their power from the washer solvent container. Lower the filled washer solvent container through the radiator support access by disconnecting its screws first. Move the Washer Pump parts along with the level sensor and container cap from the original vessel to new one. To install the container place the filler neck of the washer solvent through the radiator support allowing the electrical harness retainer clip connect. Fix the solvent container fasteners at 6 n.m then plug washer hoses and electronic connections to washer pumps and solvent level sensor. Put back the headlamp assembly, front bumper part, and the air deflector below. Use a bolt to attach the washer solvent container filler neck to the upper tie bar and tighten it to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Insert the washer solvent canister into its space and shut the hood.
