After disconnection of the lower intermediate Steering Shaft from the steering gear you must record the proper installation alignment between the center intermediate Steering Shaft and the upper intermediate Steering Shaft. Extract the center intermediate Steering Shaft from its connection with the upper Steering Shaft after letting both shafts and the lower intermediate Steering Shaft remain inside the vehicle. Mark the connection points between the center and lower intermediate steering shafts before removing the center bolt. Remove the center intermediate Steering Shaft from its position between the lower intermediate Steering Shaft.
