Start by detaching the coolant air bleed pipe followed by removal of the Intake Manifold cover. The first step involves removing the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube from the Intake Manifold and right camshaft cover while also extracting the evaporative emission (EVAP) hose from the Intake Manifold and evap solenoid. Start by removing the fuel pipe shield then unclip only the essential wire harnesses. The technician needs to remove the Intake Manifold bolts along with the Intake Manifold assembly while discarding the Intake Manifold Gasket. Clean all surfaces of the Intake Manifold first and take it apart if necessary. Install the Intake Manifold assembly after necessary assemblies and a new Intake Manifold Gasket. Follow the specified bolt sequence when tightening the manifold bolts to 17 lb ft (23 Nm) torque while making two tightening passes.
