Remove the mount of transmission to the transmission support retaining nut or nuts and lift the transmission to ease the weight of the mount. Next, take off the transmission mount to the transmission or transfer case adapter mounting bolts and raise the transmission enough for removal of the mount. After the removal of the mount from the vehicle, install the new transmission mount while making sure that it is attached to the transmission or transfer case to attach at the mounting bolts of the adapter, and tighten the bolts to 50 nm (37 foot.lbs). Lessen the transmission and install the transmission mount to the transmission support retaining nut or nuts and install them up to 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Finally, take away the transmission jack, and lower the vehicle.
