  Before fixing the left Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring you need to remove the left Camshaft then raise and support the vehicle. To start work you must detach both parts of the engine Oil Pan to the transaxle case system then remove the torque converter cover. Position the flywheel holder (J44214) first and then lower the vehicle for work. Clean the Spark Plug hole space thoroughly before you take out the Spark Plug for the repair cylinder. Set the valve spring compressor base plate over the Spark Plug hole while inserting the Spark Plug port adapter and keeping the valve closed with constant air pressure. Put on the valve spring compressor arm and swivel nut onto the stud of the valve to be worked on while tightening the swivel nut just enough to reach the valve locks. With a magnet tool remove the valve locks before you release the swivel nut to swing away the arm and extract the valve spring parts. To replace the valve stem seal you should use j38820 device to safely take off the old seal. Spread clean engine oil onto the valve stem and insert the new valve stem seal through the valve stem seal remover and installer tool (J38820). After installing the valve spring retainers and valve springs normalize the compressor arm by tightening its swivel nut just enough for valve lock placement. Use the on-vehicle valve retainer remover/installer (J43059) to position valve locks then get rid of the swivel nut and arm of the valve spring compressor (J44211). Run through this procedure for all valves you need to service before releasing the air pressure and taking off the Spark Plug port adapter (J39313) from each Spark Plug hole. Place the Spark Plug in the slot of the valve spring compressor base plate before redoing this process on other cylinders. Start by reinstalling left camshafts and continue with supportive steps including the replacement of the flywheel holder and returning torques to specified values on all bolts.
