Start by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable before draining part of the coolant. You should take out the instrument panel compartment followed by removing the right sound insulator and heater and a/c programmer. Break the connection of the driver air mix actuator and passenger air mix actuator . After that disconnect the Heater Core cover and the inlet and outlet heater hoses from the Heater Core. Start replacement by taking out the Heater Core after unfastening its retaining screws. Place the Heater Core inside the heater case by using two screws which need tightening to 2 n.m torque value (18 lb in). First attach the Heater Core cover together with its screws then secure them to 2 n.m (18 lb in) torque. Proceed by connecting both the passenger air mix actuator and driver air mix actuator followed by the heater and a/c programmer installation. The instrument panel compartment and right sound insulator should be reinstalled after connecting back the negative Battery Cable. The cooling system must be refilled and the air mix valve needs adjustment as the final step.
