Firstly, disconnect the cruise control cable from the throttle body cam along with throttle body bracket and cruise control module. Next, you should disconnect the electrical connector from cruise control module assembly and remove the cross car brace. Next, unscrew the nut fastening the cruise control mounting bracket to the left strut tower and pull the cruise control module assembly. Remove the fasteners to retain the cruise control module to the mounting bracket and remove the cruise control module from the mounting bracket. For installation, mount the cruise control module on a mounting bracket and fasten it with the fasteners , applying 7.5 N.m (66 lb in) of torque. Next, mount the cruise control module assembly on the upper left strut tower and fasten it with the nut on the stud. Reinstall the cross car brace and plug in the electrical connector to the cruise control module assembly. Finally replace the cruise control cable to the throttle body cam, throttle body bracket and cruise control module.
