How to replace the ignition coil for Bank 1 on Cadillac DTS?

When changing the ignition coil for bank 1, remove both fuel injector sight shields. If repairing the ignition coil assembly, remove the engine harness electrical connector from the ignition coil assembly, the fuel injector sight shield studs, and ignition coil assembly bolts before removing the ignition coil assembly. For individual ignition coil service, disconnect the individual ignition coil electrical connector and turn the ignition coil bolt counter-clock wise unscrew it then remove the ignition coil. On installation, in case of servicing of ignition coil assembly, install the ignition coil assembly, and then tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in) and then fuel injector sight shield studs that are also tightened to 10 Nm (89 lb in). Mount the ignition coil and bolt it to the ignition coil assembly, tightening it with 10 Nm (89 lb in) torque. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the ignition coil assembly. Finally, join individual ignition coil electrical connector and reinstall both fuel injector sight shields.
