Start by taking apart the upper and lower shrouds without disconnecting wire harness straps that connect to the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly. First disconnect the connecting devices from the turn signal and multifunction switch system. Take the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly out by first unscrewing its 2 pan head tapping screws.

How to replace the multifunction turn signal switch on Cadillac DeVille?

Before you replace the Turn Signal Switch you must turn off the sir system. Take off the Steering Column trim covers. Also unscrew and remove the Turn Signal Switch retainers before disconnecting its electrical wires. First put the switch electrical wires in place followed by placing the Turn Signal Switch over the Steering Column. Secure the Turn Signal Switch retaining screws properly at 7 nm (62 inch lbs). Place back the Steering Column trim covers while turning on the sir system.
