Next, take out the nuts and the bolt from the cruise control module assembly and remove the assembly. Subsequently, remove the fasteners comprising the bracket to the cruise control module and detach the module from the mounting bracket. To install, mount cruise control module on mounting bracket and fasten in position with fasteners . Tighten these fasteners to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in). Then, connect the cruise control module assembly to body and connect the 2 nuts and the bolt and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in). Connect the electrical connector to the cruise control module and reinstall the cruise control cable with the keeping in mind that no mechanical grip of the cable is needed to be modified after the replacement is done because the cruise control module will do this internally for you.
