After placing the new o-ring on the evap purge solenoid you should insert its retaining bolt and torque it until it reaches 10 n.m (88 lb in). The throttle must be partially opened while you join the evap purge solenoid hose and electrical connector to their respective points on the solenoid. You should reinstall and secure the intake manifold sight shield to the engine by using the intake manifold sight shield nuts while keeping them at 3 n.m (27 lb in) torque settings.
