How to replace the canister purge valves on 2005 Cadillac DeVille?

In order to change the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve, remove the electrical connector and purge pipe. Align the throttle partially open by removing the retaining bolt after which the valve is removed. Replace an O-ring, re-position the valve, re-tighten the bolt and reconnect the purge pipe, and the electrical connector.
