Begin evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve replacement by taking off the electrical connector from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve then removing the evap canister purge pipe from the valve. First disconnect and remove the evap canister purge valve bolt then remove the valve and its accompanying gasket from the Intake Manifold. The installation process requires you to mount the evap canister purge valve with gasket onto the Intake Manifold and fasten the evap canister purge valve bolt with 10 n.m (89 in-lb) torque using the fastener notice in service precautions. Connect the evap canister purge pipe to the evap canister purge valve and then reconnect the electrical connector to the evap canister purge valve .
