How to replace the canister purge valves on 2007 Buick Terraza?

First, take off the intake manifold cover to replace the Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve. The engine harness electrical connector can be disconnected from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve and also disconnect the chassis EVAP pipe from the valve. Unfasten the bolt holding the EVAP canister purge valve and replace the EVAP canister purge valve. In the case of installation, we start with the EVAP canister purge valve that has to be put in position and make sure we follow the rider "Fastener Notice". Next please install the EVAP canister purge valve bolt and tighten the same to 16 N.m (12 lb ft). Reconnect the chassis EVAP pipe to the EVOP canister purge valve and connect the engine harness electrical connector to the valve. Lastly replace the intake manifold cover.
