The Evaporator core receives the A/C Expansion Valve removal through dismantling the A/C Expansion Valve to Evaporator bolts along with disposal of A/C Expansion Valve sealing washers. New sealing washers should be placed on the Evaporator core before installing the A/C Expansion Valve by tightening its A/C Expansion Valve to Evaporator bolts at 3.2 n.m (28 lb in). Install new sealing washers onto the Evaporator inlet and outlet tubes before securing them together for the outlet tube to connect with the inlet tube. Connect the Evaporator tube block with the A/C Expansion Valve while installing the Evaporator tube block to the A/C Expansion Valve nut by securing bolts at 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Evacuation and recharging of the a/c system completes the last step.
