How to replace the Sunroof Cable Assembly on Buick Enclave?

Open the sunshade fully, undock every sunroof sunshade cable assembly piece and remove the front sunroof window first. Next, remove sunshade motor/actuator and then the sunroof frame laying the frame down in a clean, protected area. Unscrew the fixed window seal frame screws at the front center and both sides and then unfasten the window seal and frame as a unit from the sunroof frame. Grasp the two (left and right) front corners of the sunshade and roll it up until it comes off of the front bar and sunshade cable/guide. Slide the sunshade cable/guide to the front stop and lift it upward to release it. Take off the cable/guide from the cable tube and track. For installation, lay the cable/guide into the cable tube and tracks with a dimpled feature on top, subsequently installing your sunshade to the cable/guide. Fasten the window seal and frame to the sunroof frame, paying attention to install the fixed window seal frame screws at the front center and on both sides, tighten them to 5 nm (44 lb in). Install the sunroof frame and ensure that the left and the right sunshade cables/guides pushed rearward to the full stop position before installing the sunshade motor/actuator. Ensure the process of spin up operation /teach completed before installing the sunroof window. Lastly, check the sunroof and sunshade for proper function.
