The first step to replace the ride height sensor requires you to raise and support the vehicle. Remove the ride height sensor electrical connector from its mounting point before separating the sensor link from the ball stud of the lower control arm. Start by removing ride height sensor bracket bolts to take away the sensor with its bracket from the vehicle then remove the sensor link from the height sensor arm. The ride height sensor link should be attached to the sensor arm first before inserting both the sensor and bracket onto the vehicle. Attach all ride height sensor bracket bolts and torque them to 85 N.m (63 lb ft). Reestablish the ride height sensor link by connecting it to the lower control arm ball stud and the electrical connector. Drive the vehicle to a low position before starting the diagnostic test of the system.
