After cleaning the caliper boot with denatured alcohol you should press the piston into the bore with a c-clamp protected by materials. Insert the four Brake Pad retainers to the caliper bracket while keeping the wear sensor facing forward. Install the brake pads onto each retainer and position them onto the bracket before placing threadlocker gm p/n-12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) on the caliper pin bolt threads. Lower the caliper until it rests on the pads. Secure the lower bolt to the caliper and tighten it to 26 ft. Lbs. (35 Nm). Secure the rotor with two wheel nuts then mount the tire and wheel below the vehicle. Available brake fluid reaches its proper level before pushing the brake pedal three-fourths of the way down and using a special tool to smooth out pad and rotor surfaces.
