How to replace the MAP Sensor on Buick Enclave?

To change the Manifold absolute pressure Sensor, you need to remove the fuel injector sight shield. Remove the manifold absolute pressure sensor on the engine wiring harness electrical connector from MAP sensor, then pull out the MAP sensor bolt as well as the sensor. Apply clean engine oil to the NEW MAP sensor O-ring seal and install the MAP sensor and bolt, securing the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Then, connect the MAP sensor to the engine wiring harness electrical connector and reinstall the fuel injector sight shield.

How to service the MAP Sensor on Buick Regal?

Start the MAP Sensor service by removing the fuel injector sight shield first. The service of the MAP sensor begins by disconnecting its electrical connector and its vacuum hose before using MAP sensor screws to extract the sensor from its spot. You should reinstall the MAP sensor following its position after which secure it using MAP sensor screws that require a torque of 5 N.m (44 lb in) according to Service Precautions Fastener Notice.
