    Q: How to service the Throttle Position Sensor on Buick Century?
    A:
    To service the throttle position sensor first remove the fuel lines as well as the throttle position (TP) sensor electric connector. Use the screwdriver to unbolt the 2 TP sensor screws, then take out the TP sensor with the O-ring. For install, put on the O-ring to the TP sensor and install the sensor. Use Loctite(r) 262, GM P/N 12345493, (Canadian P/N 10953488) or an application of equal thread-lokilitating tendency towards the sensor screws and they are mounted. Make sure to fasten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Finally reconnect TP sensor electric connector and the fuel lines.
