How to replace the A/C hose in a refrigerant system on 2010 GMC Acadia?

Begin replacement of the discharge hose by recovering refrigerant through use of the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A). The front fascia and the front bumper upper fascia support need removal before beginning. The technician needs to detach the electrical connector attached to the a/c pressure switch before unbolting and detaching the discharge line connected to the A/C Compressor. Disconnect the discharge line from the condenser and the discharge line to condenser bolt before extracting the discharge line itself. Next discard the discharge line o-rings together with the rest of the parts. The installation process requires new o-rings installation for both the discharge line and the a/c pressure switch. The discharge line connects to the condenser after which users install the discharge line to condenser bolt while torquing it to 9 nm (80 lb in). Position the discharge line toward the A/C Compressor before using the discharge line bolt to fix it in place at the A/C Compressor . Tighten the bolt to 9 nm (80 lb in). At the next step reinstall the front bumper upper fascia support together with the front fascia. The system requires evacuation followed by refilling and halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) must perform a leak test on all component fittings.
