How to replace the A/C Hose liquid line in the HVAC system on GMC Acadia?

The hvac system starts with removing the refrigerant from the liquid line. The right headlamp assembly and fascia grille must first be removed before beginning the work. Detach the liquid line bolt that is fastened to the A/C Condenser then separate the liquid line from the condenser unit. Detach the liquid line to auxiliary tube nut and disconnect the liquid line together with the evaporator hose/tube from the txv which is located at the plenum panel. The installation of a new liquid line begins by removing clamp nuts which secure the attaching liquid line along both the right inner frame rail and plenum panel and proceeding with bracket bolt removal from the right side of the upper tie bar support. Remove the liquid line before discarding the discharge line sealing washer. To set up the connection use new sealing washers for the liquid line then attach liquid line and evaporator hose/tube to the txv within the plenum panel area. Secure the liquid line by fitting it to the txv nut followed by bolt tightening to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Join the liquid line to the auxiliary evaporator tube then tightly install the liquid line nut by using 9 n.m (80 lb in). Properly attach the liquid line to the condenser then tighten the liquid line nut to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Fix the liquid line bracket bolt to the upper tie bar support at 9 n.m (80lb in) torque before you secure the liquid line bracket nuts to both frame rail and plenum panel with 4 n.m (35 lb in) torque measurement. The last step includes putting back the right headlamp assembly and fascia grille followed by evacuating and recharging the refrigerant system while conducting a leak test on component fittings using a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
