The electrical connector of the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister harness needs to be disconnected from the sensor that measures fuel tank pressure. A flat-bladed screwdriver should be used to both lift and release the fuel tank pressure sensor from the evap canister. Insert the fuel tank pressure sensor on the evap canister by ensuring complete seating of the sensor grommet to the canister. After securing the evap canister harness electrical connector to the fuel tank pressure sensor you must install the fuel tank pressure sensor cover. Then complete the procedure by lowering the vehicle.
