How to replace the ignition coil for Bank 1 (LP1, LY7) on 2010 Cadillac STS?

Before changing the Ignition Coil for bank 1 (LP1, LY7), turn the ignition off and remove the engine cover with keeping the fuel pipes and hoses intact. In the procedures of replacement of Ignition Coil for cylinder 1 or 3 disconnect the air cleaner duct off of Throttle Body, and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose off of the right bank camshaft cover without separating the upper Intake Manifold as of the lower Intake Manifold. There are other bolts below that you should remove -already the Intake Manifold brace bolts (1 and 2) to remove the brace so the tools can gain enough clearance to remove ignition coils. Next, the Ignition Coil electrical connector(s) will be disconnected, then the Ignition Coil bolt(s) is removed, and the Ignition Coil(s) is taken out. To install: reinstall the Ignition Coil(s) and make sure it is tightened to 10 nm (89 lb in) Ignition Coil bolt(s), and reattach the Ignition Coil electrical connector(s). In case it is needed, reinstall the Intake Manifold and lastly, install the engine cover.
