How to replace a universal joint on 2009 GMC Sierra 1500?

To remove the universal joint, propeller shaft should be supported in horizontal and pressure of the retaining ring should be relieved. Take off the ring and dry the universal bearing with the help of the tools. Wipe the two yokes, fit the universal bearings and make them swing freely. Lastly insert the slip yoke and attach the retaining ring.
