After that,extract the oil level indicator tube (420) from the engine block. Check the o-ring seal (421) for damages or cuts before deciding its reuse for the tube or replacing it with a new o-ring. You need to apply clean engine oil to the new o-ring seal (421) before putting it on the oil level indicator tube when required. After positioning the oil level indicator tube (420) between the Exhaust Manifold and engine block complete the operation by supporting the vehicle at a proper height. Insert the oil level indicator tube into the block while positioning the collar at the block surface and drop the vehicle. Secure the oil level indicator tube bolt (419) with 25 nm (18 lb ft) torque setting before putting back the oil level indicator (418).
