How to replace the timing chain, Crankshaft Gear, Cam Gear, and solenoid valve on 2009 GMC Sierra 1500?

Removing the oil pump and starter motor is the first thing to do to replace the timing chain and similar parts. Install holding tool and bolts then center the crankshaft sprocket and CMP actuator. De-mount the actuator, timing chain, and CMP actuator solenoid valve. Install the new parts taking care of proper alignment and fixing all the parts. Lastly, replace the starter and oil pump.
