How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor on the Transfer Case Rear Output Shaft on the left side on 2009 GMC Envoy?

The first step to replace the Transfer Case rear output shaft speed sensor on the left side requires the vehicle to be raised. First disconnect the electrical connector which belongs to the Transfer Case left rear speed sensor then remove the sensor. Position the new Transfer Case left rear speed sensor inside the Transfer Case before tightening it to 17 nm (13 lb ft). The vehicle must then be lowered after reconnecting the electrical connector before sensor installation.
