  A: One needs to remove the door trim panel for initiating the door check replacement process. Proceed by removing the front side of the water deflector to get access to the door hole. Proceed by taking out the bolt which anchors the front lower window run channel. Secure access to the door retaining nuts becomes possible by first removing the 2 check pillar bolts followed by taking off the check rubber dust boot. Extract the check assembly through the door access hole by taking off the 2 check retaining nuts from the door. To install properly feed check assembly into the door access hole with a forward-facing position arrow. Use the 2 check retaining nuts to fasten them to the door before tightening them to 7 Nm (62 lb in). Secure the rubber dust boot onto the check, follow it by attaching the 2 bolts that fasten the check to the pillar and tighten them to 15 Nm (11 lb ft). After installing the front lower window run channel users must position the water deflector correctly and complete the procedure by installing the door trim panel.
