How to replace the engine coolant thermostat in LLV and LLR engines (2.9L, 3.7L) on 2009 GMC Canyon?

In vehicles equipped with engines that have LLV and LLR engines to replace the engine coolant thermostat, drain the cooling system and reach the thermostat housing. Take off the left wheelhouse liner and loosen the radiator inlet hose. Disassemble the thermostat housing, clean the two surfaces and put back. Lastly, fill the cooling system and test leakages.
