Remove oil pan and cylinder head. If a ring ridge exists, lower piston, protect with cloth, ream ridge, then clean debris. Mark rods and caps, remove nuts, cap, piston, and rod with required tools. Clean, oil, and prep bores. Reinstall piston, align marks, compress rings, fit caps, tighten bolts, check clearance, reinstall head and pan.
