How to Replace a Vehicle Speed Sensor for Output on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

Remove the transmission fluid pan and filter in order to replace the output speed sensor. Unplug the electrical wiring harness from the output speed sensor, then unscrew the output speed sensor bolt, and remove the output speed sensor and the output speed sensor spacer. Check the output speed sensor for damaged or missing magnet, damaged housing, or bent/missing electrical terminals. For installation start up with the output speed sensor spacer and thereafter the output speed sensor. Install the output speed sensor bolt was fastened to 11 nm ( 97 lb in ). Reconnect the electrical wire harness connector to the output speed sensor and lastly, replace the transmission fluid pan and filter.
