  A: Start by removing the left bank exhaust manifold heat shield to replace the left side Catalytic Converter. Begin by taking out the Catalytic Converter nuts followed by raising and supporting the vehicle. You need to disconnect the electrical connector of the Oxygen Sensor and the muffler pipe connections between the left and right catalytic converters. Remove the fasteners holding the Exhaust Pipe to right bank Catalytic Converter then remove the Catalytic Converter together with the seal/heat shield and Oxygen Sensor from the exhaust manifold. Extract the Oxygen Sensor which rests on top of the Catalytic Converter. First fasten the Oxygen Sensor to the Catalytic Converter but remember to check the Catalytic Converter seal/heat shield sealing surface for damage and replace it when necessary. Secure the Catalytic Converter by attaching the Catalytic Converter nuts into the exhaust manifold after you have positioned the converter back into its place with its seal/heat shield installed. Use a torque wrench to tighten the muffler nuts to 22 nm (16lb ft), while connecting the Oxygen Sensor electrical connector and the muffler pipes to their respective left and right side catalytic converters. Lower the vehicle while making sure to tighten the Catalytic Converter fasteners to exhaust manifold with 50 nm (37 lb ft) torque setting. Finish your installation by installing the right bank exhaust manifold heat shield.
