Two hands should be used to release the tabs from each side of the access cover before lifting it to remove the filter access cover . Move out the filter through the filter housing before carefully prying the filter housing away from the sheet metal construction. Take away the passenger compartment air filter housing from its position. Installation begins with the passenger air filter housing which needs to be pressed until all sheet metal clips connect properly to achieve a proper housing-to-sheet metal seal. The installation process requires the filter to be placed within the filter housing before installing the filter access cover followed by the air inlet grille panel.
