How to Replace the Rear Suspension Coil Springs on 2009 Cadillac Escalade?

The first step before coil spring replacement in the rear suspension includes vehicle raise and support followed by axle support. When the system has an esc sensor it needs to be disconnected. Start by taking off the stabilizer shaft link retaining nut from the frame structure followed by the lower shock absorber nut and bolt from the rear axle compartment. Unload the rear axle by lowering it until the springs reach their natural position while documenting the spring directionality. Take out the coil spring as well as the upper insulator. Placing the coil spring together with the upper insulator should proceed the rear axle lift. Insert the lower shock absorber retaining bolt and nut to the rear axle before attaching the stabilizer shaft link to its frame location. The vehicle requires disconnecting any esc sensors while the installer removes the rear axle support and conducts the vehicle lowering procedure.
