How to replace the Power Steering Hose on 2009 Cadillac DTS?

Begin power steering pressure pipe replacement by installing the drain pan under the car then removing the power steering pressure hose from the Power Steering Pump. Support the vehicle before removing both the power steering gear heat shield along with the wheelhouse liner. You must remove the power steering pressure hose bracket retaining nut at the Cylinder Head before disconnecting the hose from the bracket at the frame and power steering gear to remove it from the vehicle. The first step should be hose installation alongside bracket attachment at the frame while following fastener safety protocols. The power steering gear receives the hose attachment which requires a torque of 30 nm (22 lb ft). Afterwards, secure the power steering pressure hose bracket and retaining nut at the Cylinder Head with a torque of 9 nm (80 lb in). First reattach the wheelhouse liner along with the power steering gear heat shield before lowering the vehicle to fasten the power steering pressure hose at the Power Steering Pump using 30 nm (22 lb ft) torque. Finish the power steering system bleeding process by taking out the drain pan.
