How to replace the lower control arm ball joint on 2009 Buick Enclave?

The lower control arm ball joint can be replaced by removing the lower control arm assembly and clamping it in a vise. Lubricate the rivet heads, grind them off, then eliminate the rivets and ball joint. Install the new ball joint, tighten down the mounting nuts and bolts, reinstall the control arm lower. Finally, the front end alignment should be checked.
