How to replace the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

To replace Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, simply turn OFF the ignition and lift the vehicle to a desirable support level. Flushing the cooling system below the ECT sensor, then lower the vehicle. Disconnect the electrical connector of the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor and remove the ECT sensor. For installation, apply ECT sensor threads with sealer GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or analog, and fix the ECT sensor and tighten it to 20 N.m (15 lb ft). Connect the electrical connector of the ECT sensor along with topping off the engine coolant.
