Start by disconnecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor with caution to prevent sensor damage from rotation or prying. Remove the MAP Sensor bolt first. Then pull the MAP Sensor upwards while gently rocking it to extract it from the upper Intake Manifold. Check if the MAP Sensor has damaged seals then change them if found. Begin the installation process by placing a new MAP Sensor seal on the sensor when necessary and secure the MAP Sensor to the upper Intake Manifold. Tighten the MAP Sensor bolt to a torque of 10 n.m (89 lb in). Reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAP Sensor in conclusion.
