How to replace the Parking Brake Cable at the Front on 2008 Chevrolet Corvette?

The first step to change the parking brake front cable is to remove the park brake lever. The next step requires vehicle elevation then support of its body. Next, remove the rh Muffler. Complete the process by detaching the rear park brake cables from the equalizer together with the front park brake cable from the cable retainer. First lower the vehicle and then remove the front park brake cable bracket from the tunnel before taking out the front cable. The replacement process requires cable users to take away both the pass-through grommet then front bracket of the cable. Start installing the front bracket and pass-through grommet to the new cable before installing the front park brake cable to the vehicle while aligning the grommet correctly in place. After raising and supporting the vehicle once more workers need to attach the front park brake cable bracket to the tunnel and link the front park brake cable to the park brake cable retainer.
