2008 Chevrolet Corvette Blower Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the blower motor on 2008 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: The right hand (RH) insulator panel needs to be taken out before replacing the Blower Motor. Disconnecting the Blower Motor prevents accidental start-up because the fan will activate when the component touches earth and threatens harm. The Blower Motor Resistor stays attached to the Blower Motor assembly and technicians cannot separate and replace it without disassembling the unit. To start disconnect the Blower Motor electrical connector before removing the retaining screws to take out the Blower Motor from its place in the hvac unit. To correctly install the Blower Motor return it into the hvac module while following the provided fastener guidance. Reattach the motor blower with retaining screws and torque them to 1.6n.m before reinserting the electrical plug and restoring the right-hand insulator panel.
