How to replace the parking brake cable on 2008 Chevrolet Aveo?

Removing the parking brake cable involves releasing the lever of the parking brake and removing the rear wheels. Disconnect the brake backup plate and the brake cable with the parking brake shoe lever. Unscrew the bolts that connected the brake cable with the holding bracket and the underbody side brackets. Install new cable, reassemble parts, and length of cable.
