Disabling the sir system should be your first step before you replace the Steering Angle Sensor. The next action is to take the Steering Column out of the vehicle. Then, unscrew and take away the boot seal, Steering Shaft seal, sensor retainer, and sensor locator from the Steering Shaft. After doing this, pull out the Steering Angle Sensor. For installation, fit the new Steering Angle Sensor onto the Steering Shaft, then go on to install the sensor locator, sensor retainer, Steering Shaft seal, and boot seal. Reattach the Steering Column to the car and make sure to enable the sir system.
