How to replace the Driver Seat Head Restraint Car Speakers on 2008 Cadillac XLR?

A plastic flat-bladed tool should be inserted into the base of the speaker grille to loosen retaining clips before removing the speaker grille from the seat. The installation process starts with removing seat screws which anchor the speaker then directing the speaker outward and finally detaching the speaker harness lead before taking off the speaker grille retainer. Begin the installation by inserting the speaker grille retainer first while connecting the speaker harness lead then directing the speaker harness inside the seat. Screw four retainers to hold the speaker on the seat while tightening them to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in). Press the speaker grille against the seat until retaining clips secure into position.
