How to replace the negative battery cable for LY7 - Gas, 6 CYL, 3.6L, SFI, V6, Alum on 2008 Cadillac STS?

To replace the battery negative cable (LY7 - Gas, 6 CYL, 3.6L, SFI, V6, Alum), one has to disconnect the negative Battery Cable to do so. Then, pull off the instrument panel (I/P) harness electrical connector from the battery current sensor. Kill the car and press down the accelerator and brake pedal several times to drain the battery, then take the bolt tool and unfasten from the side rail the negative Battery Cable, followed by disconnecting from the negative Battery Cable the body harness connector. Next, disconnect the stud that holds the negative Battery Cable to the engine block to lower the vehicle to get rid of the negative Battery Cable. For the installation, put the new negative Battery Cable, screw it onto the engine block stud and tighten it to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Attach the negative Battery Cable to the side rail using the bolt and screwing it to 36 n.m (27 lb ft). Connect the body harness connector to the negative battery and then connect the i/p harness electrical connector to the battery current sensor. Lastly, attach assist negative Battery Cable.
