You need to take off the fuel injector sight shield before you start replacing the air cleaner inlet duct. You should start by loosening the intake air duct clamps followed by disconnecting the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube from the air intake duct. Move the air intake duct away from the Throttle Body before taking the mass air flow (MAF) sensor's duct out then take down the entire air intake duct. Start by attaching the maf sensor to the air intake duct before connecting it to the Throttle Body for installation. Secure the pcv tube into the air intake duct before applying torque to the duct clamps at 2 n.m (18 lb in). Reinstall the fuel injector sight shield as your last step.
