How to Replace a Vehicle Speed Sensor for Output on 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?

The first step to replace the output speed sensor includes disconnecting its wiring harness from the output shaft speed sensor. Start by removing the output speed sensor bolt then pull out both the output shaft speed sensor and its accompanying O-ring . Before installation apply GM T-IV automatic transaxle fluid GM P/N 88900925 to the new output speed sensor O-ring. Place it onto the output speed sensor before installation. After installing the output speed sensor bolt feed the sensor into the transmission case assembly then tighten it to 6 N.m (53 lb in). Reconnect the wiring harness to the output shaft speed sensor as the final step.
