2007 Chevrolet Equinox Oxygen Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 on 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?
A: To replace heated Oxygen Sensor 1 first, disconnect the ho2s 1 harness connector, and then remove the ho2s from the Exhaust Manifold. When installing, lubricate a little nickel based anti-seize compound (that does not have silicone in it) on the threads of the ho2s 2. Put the ho2s 1 on the Exhaust Manifold and further tighten it to 42 n.m (31 lb ft). Finally, plug in the ho2s 1 harness connector while ensuring that it clicks in and when you pull it back, it should give a positive sign to indicate that it has locked.
