How to replace the LH Differential Cover and seal on 2007 Chevrolet Corvette?

To replace the differential carrier cover and seal on the left side you need to; first raise and support the vehicle, then remove lh rear tire and wheel assembly, the lh wheel drive shaft and the lh Muffler assembly. Draining the fluid from the differential further oil needs to be removed by casting off the damper/tuned absorber bolts and removing the damper/tuned absorber. Relax the nut holding the transmission to the transmission lh mounting stud making sure to fit a second nut onto the mounting stud before taking the stud off the Differential Cover (right). Clean any dirt or debris from the area around the Differential Cover (left), and began to remove its two bolts and later take off the Differential Cover (left), and dump the o-ring seal from the differential side cover. For installation, clean the sealing surface of the o-ring on the Differential Cover (left) and the differential housing, put in a new o-ring seal to the Differential Cover (left), screw it into place with the differential. Install the Differential Cover (left) retaining bolts and tighten them to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Install the transmission mounting stud to the Differential Cover (left), tightening with the two nuts on the stud to 42 n.m (31 lb ft), and then removing the second nut. Tighten the lh stud mounting nut on the transmission to the transmission to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Next, take the damper/tuned absorber, attached it to Differential Cover (left), and fastened it with a bolt which should be fastened to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Top up the differential using the required fluids to the right level, before reassembling the lh Muffler assembly, the lh drive wheel assembly, and finally the lh rear tire and wheel assembly before lowering the vehicle.
